Sandwich printing (negative sandwiching)

Sandwich print 1

Sandwich printing is a specific photographic procedure that’s carried out in a darkroom.

In order to create a sandwich print you must combine two different negatives into the negative carrier below the projector’s light. This process is usually carried out so that a photographer may superimpose specific photographic elements that wouldn’t usually occur on one singular negative, therefore two are used to create a unique juxtaposition within the  resultant photograph.

This is my negative sandwich print ,however i scratched one of the negatives to add an usually unoccurring effect (this wouldn’t be present without the scratched negative)  being applied to main negative.
